Description

Designed by P. Aragay and J. Pérez Mateo and first released in 1973, Lauro is reissued fifty years later in the firm belief that good design never ages. A lamp that symbolises the origins of Marset, when design was established as a defining pillar of the brand. The reissue remains faithful to the original. The base and stem, available in chrome or charcoal, are crafted from steel - a material that was innovative and challenging to shape in the 1970s, and remains so today. The methacrylate shade is available in translucent opal for diffused light, or two-layer black for direct illumination. The shade can be rotated and adjusted in height to direct light as needed. Available as a desk lamp, floor lamp, and wall lamp, Lauro works with an LED bulb while maintaining the aesthetic language of its era - volume, presence, and authenticity. A design that bridges past and present, reissued to inspire a new generation.
