FISHATS, a series in fabric designed by Colin Dinley and created in collaboration with Arti21. FISHATS, playful hat-shaped wall lights that combine the typical use of metal with that of fabrics. The products take inspiration from the "Fishing Hats", the iconic rain hats used by fishermen. The fabric accessory is in waterproof polyester, a feature that makes it particularly ideal for outdoor as well as indoor spaces. The stitching takes up the typical elements of these hats, with brass eyelets for condensation. The hat tightens around the edge of the aluminium structure and is then secured with a lock. Two worlds, that of lighting and tailoring, come together in this way in a single vision.
