The light's unique three-sided shape is David Trubridges third pendant light inspired by microscopic diatoms and is named after the Te Reo Māori word for "three".

The light adds an element of sculptural nature as it can be installed either horizontally or vertically. Crafted from high-quality materials, the Toru pendant light is built to last and features intricate designs that reflect the beauty of the Triceratium diatoms. The light's three sides create a mesmerizing twist that interplays light and shadow, providing a warm and welcoming glow that's perfect for dining tables, lounges, foyer, reception or as a corner statement piece.

The Toru light is versatile enough to fit in any space, from the living room to the bedroom, and it can be easily installed on any standard E26/E27 lamp/bulb. It's modern design and beautiful craftsmanship make it a standout piece that will complement any décor.

The Toru is made from sustainably sourced natural bamboo plywood as the main material which is available in Bamboo, or painted on one side, plus double-sided Black or White, thus creating a selection of different options. (For the colour selections an acrylic low VOC (volatile organic compound) paint is used.
