This teardrop bulb looks similar to the classic Edison light globe, whilst using a fraction of the electricity. These LED filament bulbs are the warmest on the market and give you the same look  - just without the power consumption and resulting carbon emissions.

A best seller, the ST64 Long Filament bulb also comes in a beautiful warm-white 3000k colour temperature. Perfect for residential and commercial lighting applications where a more functional colour temperature is required. Offering high lumen output, these bulbs work perfectly within and under pendants positioned over kitchen benches, in lounge rooms, hallways and bathrooms and compliment 3000k downlight colour temperatures commonly used within residential and commercial lighting designs.

They operate at a really low temperature - the old incandescents operated at temperatures up to 2800 C. These bulbs can be touched even after hours of use and typically don't go much above 30C.
