IO Peel

iO Peel is the outcome of a collaboration between two Tauranga design houses, MAKER, and The Ernest Workshop Designer Dan Gillingham brings Peel’s beautifully crafted steam-bent Ash legs to Mat Macmillan’s elegant iO Tall lamp.  The central iO shade is premium-grade Radiata ply, while the tripod legs are of steam-bent Ash. iO Peel stands at 1.7m tall with a footprint diameter of approximately 70cm.

Greater than the sum of its parts, the result is a truly sculptural and enduring design.

There is an option for a black-edge finish (outside face of fins and legs are coloured black). The Radiata is a light coloured timber with some natural variation in grain colour. The paper diffuser is wipeable, tear resistant and non-yellowing Japanese shoji paper.
