Fontana Alta Floor Lamp

Maintaining the good size of its more than half sphere lampshade and the peripheral illumination caused by its slit, Santa & Cole have extended the Fontana family by including its floor version more than fifty years after its creation.

Conceived by André Ricard, its name is a nod to the artist Lucio Fontana, who challenged the history of art by slashing his neat oil paintings. His was an art for the Space Age that sought to turn pieces into experiments in a new three dimensionality. Santa & Cole presents Fontana Pendant & Fontana Alta, a new floor version, both in white painted steel finish.
