Designed by Mathias Hahn, the Gambosa is a modern take on the table lamp - a balanced sculpture that challenges the traditionally static nature of the form. Crafted from steel, it simplifies the structural elements of shade, stem, and base, joining them together in a composition that appears almost effortlessly connected. The curved shade appears to float above the stem, which is supported on a flat base, being the sole element providing stability. The cable descends from the top, guided and anchored by a clip that forms part of the overall design appeal. The shade is available in pale pink or black for direct light, or opal polycarbonate for softer illumination. The stem comes in orange or moss grey, paired with a stone grey base, providing a palette that ranges from subdued to expressive. Available in two sizes: 260mm and 360mm in diameter. A table lamp reimagined with contemporary shape and surprising character.
