Description

A series of lights inspired by the electrical insulators of the last century can only be called after the famous London "power station" of Battersea, made famous all over the world thanks to the cover of the album "Animals" by Pink Floyd. The electrical insulators, extrapolated from their function, become sculptures, modern design objects. Every detail has been taken care of, such as the markings with the number "2014", the year in which Battersea was conceived, are printed as if it were a serial number. A new "oyster" glaze was created specifically to give these lights the colour of porcelain.

Toscot proposes lighting models which combine the Tuscan tradition of hand-pressed forms and decoration ranging from classical to contemporary. Individually hand-made pieces using high quality materials adds to the artistic value of the pieces and transforms the objects into contemporary solutions of interior design.
